Our client's Global Finance team is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Head of Finance to work in their Tokyo office. In this role, you are responsible for the finance and accounting, tax, regulatory reporting and compliance functions of their Tokyo Office.

Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Financial management including budgets, cost control, cash flow management, profits distribution and operating performance assessment
- Manage key financial and management reporting
- Provide reliable and accurate financial information to both internal and external clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax reporting
- Facilitate the risk and solvency management process, in coordination with the Chief Executive and Head Office

Erforderliche Qualifikationen:
- Degree qualified and/or other recognized professional accounting qualifications
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Japanese as you will be managing stakeholders and reviewing documents in these languages
Erforderliche Berufserfahrung:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience preferably in an insurance or reinsurance company
- Prior audit experience an advantage
- Working knowledge of local financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements particularly relating to insurance/reinsurance industry
